I lived in Tokyo, but I wanted to see various views of Japan.

And I also liked the hot spring, and I wanted to go to Jozankei.

The LCC from Tokyo was also cheap, so I made the decision, "Oh, I'm going to Hokkaido!"

When I first stayed at waya, I was surprised at the warmth of the staff and other travelers.

It was totally different from Tokyo (laughs)

I went sightseeing in Sapporo alone in the daytime, but at night I was happy to be able to talk with various people at the bar of waya.

Not only Japanese people but also people from various countries were able to get involved and it was very interesting.

It was more "a place to stay" than "a place to stay".

It was so wonderful that I went to Sapporo two months later and stayed at waya.

After this trip, my working holiday ended and I returned to Germany.

Even after I returned to Germany, I thought, “I want to live in Japan again”.

I also like Tokyo, but I wanted to live in a different town than Tokyo in Japan.

Since I had good memories of Hokkaido, I chose to study in Hokkaido University.

So now I live in Sapporo and sometimes go to waya.

Even if I become a member of society, I would like to continue living in Hokkaido.
